A hidden gem, fantastic staff, excellent home cooked food, I had the mixed grill and it's definitely for the hungry! Hunters chicken didn't stay on the plate long and the puddings are for the sweet tooth brigade. Definitely worth the visit!!
Had a superb meal of Battered Cod, mushy peas and chips. Beautifully presented. Highly recommended.
Great hotel, first class location being just in front of the beach and having very friendly and helpful staff. Our family room had a separate bedroom with it's own TV, ideal for the kids. We had a sea view which could be seen even when lay in bed. Attached photos taken from the room. The room was spotless too. The restaurant and food are great and a comprehensive and hearty cooked breakfast provided besides self-service cereals, etc. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and we all enjoyed it. The only downside was the shower would only dispense hot water, too hot to shower. But we managed for the few days we spend there. Overall highly recommended as we really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel staff were lovely and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and we had lovely fluffy towels provided. Lots of space in our room . The location is amazing and it is well worth the money. I thoroughly recommend a stay here as a base for the lakes. Perfect x Thank you all at the Ground Bailey for making our stay so amazing.
Honestly couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place. Could see the sea and stunning beach from every room. Kept amazing clean and had fresh towels outside our room every morning. Food was excellent and staff were mega friendly.
What a lovely friendly place to stay on the coast. We had a beautiful view of the Irish Sea in room 2. The room was spacious and clean with a good shower and lovely fluffy towels. The hotel is clean and the staff were always ready to help, especially the lovely Lisa. We ate in the restaurant on arrival which was extremely fresh and tasty. We had the arrabbiata and the carbonara, was delicious. The Bailey Ground hotel was a very nice place to stay with beautiful scenery and we will definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.
Really good selection of vegan options- a whole vegan/veggie dinner menu and vegan breakfast options (plus oat milk available which was much appreciated!)
